Biography

I completed an MA in English with an emphasis in creative writing in 2002 and a PhD in Composition in 2008. Writing poetry has been part of my life since I was fourteen, and I was published in Creative Kids magazine during high school. My publishing history includes poems published in anthologies such as Low Implosions: Writings on the Body, Crossroads, and Secrets of the Soul. Likewise, I have had poetry and fiction published in several journals, including The Campbellsville Review, Connections, and The Russell Creek Review. My poetry chapbook, Honoring Grief, was released by Kelsay Books in 2025.
